Google Search Term Hall of Fame

9 12 2009

One of the coolest things about having a blog is having a blog dashboard, where I can see how many people are visiting, where they’re coming from, and what search terms people are using to stumble upon my blog.

The search terms are the best.  Some of them are hilarious, and some of them are seriously worrisome.  Here are a few of the things people have googled to find District Ramblings in the past 2 days:

women arnt as funny as they look

is betty draper a pedophila

natalie portman torture

introvert i miss my crazy ex girlfriend

lady 70 plus sought

naked fatties

differences between harry and sally

are italian women good looking

betty draper smoking while pregnant

sexy gay outfits

To the introvert: Googling “introvert I miss my crazy ex girlfriend” is probably not going to get her back.  Try calling her? Just a thought.

To all the rest of you who stumbled upon my blog using one of the above search terms:  I’m sorry you didn’t find what you were looking for.  I know the number for a great therapist.

scary thought even. It’s a small-scale mind-reading. If you can read the meandering inquiries that led them here, imagine what the NSA can read when we go elsewhere.
